The National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) was set up by the Government of India under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), in the year 1983, to foster the development of higher mathematics in the country, to formulate policies for the development of mathematics, help in the establishment and development of mathematical centres and give financial assistance to research projects and to doctoral and postdoctoral scholars. NBHM functions essentially autonomously framing its own budget taking into account the funds made available by DAE.
IMPORTANT NOTICE (e-Office implementation in NBHM, DAE) :
It has been decided to implement e-Office, a mission mode project of Government of India, in NBHM with effect from April 1, 2017.
Under this project, all documents are to be electronically moved/circulated through e-Office only. Therefore, kindly arrange to send all the documents (application and other forms, supporting documents, utilization certificates, reports, letters, etc.) via Email along with a set of hard copies of the same document by Post to NBHM Office.
Since it is important to receive Cheques and Demand Drafts in physical format, they too must be sent in both ways to EMAIL IDs given in the respective scheme's page & POSTAL ADDRESS, as given below.
