NBHM provides assistance to teachers to make short-term visits of at least six weeks and maximum six months duration to another institution in India for joint work etc. The assistance provided is limited to prevailing rates for daily allowance and travel expenses limited to II class A.C. Sleeper Train Fare. Applications for this must be accompanied with permission of the employing institution and that of institution/department to be visited along with a detailed Curriculum Vitae and a statement of purpose of the visit. The application should reach the NBHM office six months before the proposed date of visit.
